this is such a bad misconception.
I (Julia) have a health food blog but I do not advocated calorie counting.
I also eating a shitfuckton load and often extremely unhealthy foods.
Example: today, three cupcakes with lunch because we had a bake stall. Who cares? I run four times a week, do swimming training three times a week and often go to yoga with friends on the weekend. Plus, because of where I live I walk around 6k a weekend between the bays to and from friend’s houses. I need to eat an absolute ton - I even get self conscious of how much I have to eat, but then you have to forget that. I also have friends who do half the exercise I do and eat just as much, if not more. People underestimate their metabolisms badly - When properly nourished you’re going to be eating big portions at LEAST four times a day. Plus more if you do pretty intense fitness. Listen to me, ladies and gentlemen: Food may seem like a rare delicacy, but it’s something that you need many times in one day just to survive.
Sorry, just felt I had to clear this up a little.
